Whether Jin Yukuang is working with young musicians of his age, such as Chen Yibai, Lin Ruifeng, Serena Wang, Ju Xiaofu, etc., or with senior musicians such as Li Weigang, Ning Feng, Huang Zheng, he is always able to revel his unique charm and vitality of the new generation to everybody around him.

Since September 2021, Jin Yukuang has become the only undergraduate student of the internationally renowned conductor Yu Long.

In June 2021, as the youngest contestant and the only one born after 2000, he won the runner-up of two International Conducting Awards: Khachaturian International Conducting Competition and Only Stage International Conducting Competition, both of which were the first Chinese to receive the award.

Project “Spring Bird“ is a project that aimed at creating a "revolution" among young Chinese classical musicians and boosting their careers.

On 25th of September 2021, as the convener of the project, Jin designed the 2021/22 Music Season and kicked off with the season-opening concert of Kapustin and Piazzolla with his own Camerata.

The Beijing Music Festival (BMF) is an annual music festival held in Beijing, is one of the most well-known musical events in the world.

Artists that have appeared at the festival include Argerich, Zukerman, Maisky, Penderecki, Thibaudet, Issac Stern, Gergiev, Vengerov, Eschenbach, Lang Lang and so on.

October 2021, Jin Yukuang received the "Young Musician Award" given by the 24th Beijing Music Festival (BMF) committee.

February 2022 Jin Yukuang with his Novus-classica Camerata was awarded by Ganlan Art Award as the "New Artist of the Year".

Other musicians on this year’s list are Lang Lang, He Hui, Bruce Liu and so on.

On 27th of August 2022, as the youngest participant, Jin was selected as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Conductors" in Beijing.

This national event was held by the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture, the Publicity Department of China, China Federation of Literary & Art Circles and Chinese Musicians' Association.

In August 2023, Jin won the Neeme Järvi Prize at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Switzerland, becoming the first Chinese winner after the award was established.

In the season of 2023/2024, he will make several debuts including China Philharmonic Orchestra and Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz. He will also conduct the closing concert of the 25th & 26th Beijing Music Festival.
